The cheapest way to make a kitchen look new

Painted cabinets fail for one reason: skipped prep. Kitchen cabinets carry years of grease that regular paint won't stick to. We remove the doors and drawers, degrease every surface, scuff-sand, fill dents and use a bonding primer before the finish coats.

For the finish we use a cabinet-grade enamel that levels out smooth and cures hard, not ordinary wall paint. Boxes and frames are painted in place with everything around them masked and covered.

It's a good fit when the cabinet boxes are solid and you like the layout. If the doors are damaged or dated in shape, we can replace just the doors and paint the boxes to match.

We paint kitchen, bathroom vanity and built-in cabinets across Miami, Miami Beach, North Miami Beach, Aventura, Sunny Isles Beach, North Miami, Miami Gardens, Miami Shores, Bal Harbour, Bay Harbor Islands, Surfside, Golden Beach, Hallandale Beach and Hollywood.

Every cabinet job includes

  • Doors and drawers removed and labeled
  • Degreasing and scuff-sanding
  • Bonding primer plus two finish coats
  • Counters, floors and appliances covered
  • Doors rehung and hinges adjusted

FAQ

Cabinet painting questions

Another question? Call or text (657) 727-6100.

How much does cabinet painting cost in Miami?

A typical kitchen starts around $2,000. The final price depends on the number of doors and drawers, their condition and whether you want two-tone or new hardware.

How long does painted cabinetry last?

With proper degreasing, sanding, bonding primer and a cabinet-grade enamel, a painted finish holds up to daily kitchen use for years. Most failures come from skipped prep.

Is painting cheaper than replacing cabinets?

Yes, usually by a large margin, and it takes days instead of weeks. Replacement only makes sense if the boxes are damaged or the layout doesn't work.

Can you paint laminate or thermofoil cabinets?

Laminate can be painted with the right bonding primer. Peeling thermofoil usually needs new doors. Send a photo and we'll tell you.

Can I use my kitchen while you work?

Mostly, yes. The doors are off and the kitchen is masked during the work, but the sink and appliances stay usable on most days.

Do you paint bathroom vanities too?

Yes, vanities, laundry cabinets and built-ins, often in the same visit as the kitchen.
