What it is

Marble looks, poured by hand

A metallic epoxy floor is a self-leveling epoxy with metallic and pearlescent pigments. While it's still wet, we work it with rollers, brushes and air to create veins, clouds and swirls — so the finished floor looks like polished marble, onyx or liquid metal.

Because it's poured as one layer, there are no grout lines or seams. The surface is non-porous and easy to clean, and the clear topcoat gives the floor real depth: light seems to sit inside it, not on top.

Metallic epoxy works beautifully in living rooms, open kitchens, basements, home theaters, condos, showrooms, salons, barbershops, restaurants and offices — anywhere you want a statement floor that's also practical.

Every metallic floor includes

  • Diamond grinding and crack repair
  • Moisture test and primer for your slab
  • Sample boards in your colors before the pour
  • Hand-worked marble pattern
  • Clear high-gloss or satin topcoat

FAQ

Metallic epoxy questions

Another question? Call or text (657) 727-6100.

How much does metallic epoxy flooring cost in Miami?

Metallic epoxy starts from about $9 per square foot installed. The final price depends on the area, slab condition, number of colors and the topcoat you choose.

Is metallic epoxy slippery?

A high-gloss finish can be slippery when wet, like polished stone. We can add a fine anti-slip additive to the topcoat or use a satin finish for kitchens, entries and commercial spaces.

Does metallic epoxy scratch?

Any glossy floor can show fine scratches over time. A quality topcoat greatly improves scratch resistance, and felt pads under furniture help. The topcoat can be refreshed years later without redoing the whole floor.

Can metallic epoxy go over existing tile?

Sometimes. If the tile is solid and well bonded, it can be ground and primed for epoxy; loose or hollow tile must come up first. We test adhesion before recommending it.

Can you install metallic epoxy in a condo?

Yes. We test the slab for moisture, use a low-odor system, protect common areas and follow building work hours. Some associations need to approve flooring changes first — we provide the product details.

How long does it take?

Most residential metallic floors take 3–4 days including prep and cure time. Light foot traffic is usually possible after about a day; furniture can go back after a few days.
