Done properly

A floor is only as good as what's under it

Hollow spots, clicking planks, cracked tile and gaps at the walls almost always come from the same place: skipped prep. In South Florida, most homes and condos sit on concrete slabs that are rarely flat enough for long planks or large-format tile out of the box.

We remove the old floor, grind high spots, level low spots and check flatness before a single plank goes down. In condos we install the sound-rated underlayment your association requires and send management the product specs for approval.

You get clean transitions between rooms, undercut door jambs, new baseboards or quarter round, and a floor that stays flat and quiet for years.

Every flooring job includes

  • Removal and disposal of old carpet, tile or wood
  • Slab grinding and self-leveling where needed
  • Moisture barrier and sound-rated underlayment
  • Door jamb undercuts, transitions and thresholds
  • Baseboards or quarter round installed and painted

Flooring questions

Another question? Call or text (657) 727-6100.

What is the best flooring for a Miami condo?

Most owners choose luxury vinyl plank or porcelain tile: both handle humidity well. Your association will usually require a sound-rated underlayment under any hard floor — we install the product that meets your building's requirement and provide specs for approval.

How much does it cost to install floors in Miami?

It depends on the material, the size of the area and how much prep the slab needs. See the starting prices above, or book a free measure for a fixed written quote.

Do you remove the old floor?

Yes. Removal and disposal of carpet, tile or old wood is included in the quote, with dust control and floor protection in common areas.

Can you install flooring over existing tile?

Sometimes — if the tile is flat, solid and the added height works with doors and transitions. Often removing it gives a better, quieter result. We'll tell you honestly after checking.

How long does flooring installation take?

A typical condo or a few rooms take 1–4 days after materials arrive. Tile and self-leveling add curing time; we include the schedule in the estimate.

Do you supply the flooring material?

Either way works. We can source material at contractor pricing or install what you've already bought.

What flooring is best for Florida humidity?

Luxury vinyl plank and porcelain tile are the most humidity-proof choices. Engineered hardwood is far more stable than solid wood if you want real wood. Whatever you choose, a moisture barrier over the concrete slab is essential.

What sound rating do Miami condos require for new floors?

It depends on your building. Many associations set minimum IIC/STC ratings for hard floors — often 50 or higher — and approve the underlayment before installation. We help you pick a product that meets your association's requirement.

Do you use a tile leveling system?

Yes. For large-format tile we use a leveling clip system and check flatness as we go, so edges sit flush with no lippage.
