Full-flake epoxy, polyurea and polyaspartic garage floors over diamond-ground concrete, resistant to hot tires in July and road salt in January.
A garage floor for all four seasons
Charlotte garages see it all: hot tires in summer, and in winter cars that drip road brine and melting snow onto the concrete. Bare slabs spall and stain, and store-bought coatings peel because they were never bonded properly.
We diamond-grind the slab, repair cracks and spalls, test moisture and install a professional system: base coat, full flake broadcast and a clear polyaspartic topcoat. Polyaspartic cures in cooler temperatures, so the season does not stop the job.
The finished floor is textured for grip, keeps salt out of the concrete and cleans up with a mop.
Every garage floor includes
- Diamond grinding and dust-controlled vacuum
- Crack, joint and spall repair
- Moisture test and primer
- Full flake broadcast in your color blend
- Clear UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat

Epoxy vs polyurea
vs polyaspartic
Three coating chemistries cover most Charlotte garages:
| System | Best for | Sun / UV | Back in use | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Epoxy | Enclosed garages, workshops | Can amber in direct sun | Walk ~24 h, park in several days | Thick, strong base coat; budget-friendly |
| Polyurea | Fast-turnaround systems | Good | Often within a day | Flexible, fast-curing; usually a base coat |
| Polyaspartic | Open garages, workshops | UV-stable — stays clear | Walk in hours, park in ~1–2 days | Premium topcoat from the polyurea family |
| Hybrid flake system | Most Charlotte garages | UV-stable top | 1–2 days | Epoxy or polyurea base + flake + polyaspartic top |
Need extra grip? Any system can get an anti-slip aggregate in the topcoat. Cure times vary with temperature and humidity — we give exact timing for your floor.

Garage floor coating cost in Charlotte
Price depends on garage size, slab condition and the system.
Starting prices for typical Mecklenburg County projects. Your fixed price is set after a free on-site visit and slab test.
How much does a garage floor coating cost in Charlotte?
Full-flake systems start from about $1,350 for a one-car garage and $2,250 for a two-car garage.
Can you install in winter?
Yes. Polyaspartic cures at much lower temperatures than standard epoxy, so we install most of the year.
Will road salt ruin it?
No. The topcoat resists salt and chemicals and protects the concrete underneath from spalling.
How long until I can park?
Usually 1–2 days with a polyaspartic topcoat.
Can you repair a spalled or cracked slab?
Yes. Cracks and spalls are repaired before coating; heavy damage is quoted on site.
